Wendy's Boo! Bags Are For Adults, Too. Here's What's Inside

Oct 22, 2024Oct 22, 2024

Wendy's is showing off its Halloween spirit by introducing new Boo! Bag meals specially designed for "kidults" of all ages.

The limited-edition meal bundles, which launched Oct. 21, feature a Dave’s single hamburger, a small fry, a small chocolate Frosty, a cool glow-in-the-dark Bone Chiller Frosty figure and a Boo! Book coupon book, the fast food chain announced in a press release.

The bargain-filled coupon book includes coupons for five free Jr. Frosty treats, as well as a bonus coupon for a specially priced $1.99 Wendy’s kids’ meal with any purchase.

Though they're designed for customers of all ages, the Boo! Bag meals benefit kids in need. Proceeds from each coupon book sold in the meal or individually go to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, which helps find homes for more than 113,000 children in foster care.

Wendy's Boo! Bag meals come on the heels of the Frosty Frights Kids Meals launched by the chain in September. The meals, specially designed for little ones, feature a choice of a hamburger or four-piece chicken nuggets, a junior fry or apple bites, a kids drink and a spooky collectible toy.

Other fast food chains have also gotten in on the Halloween fun this season.

McDonald’s brought back its popular Happy Meal Boo Buckets on Oct. 15. The trick-or-treat-ready buckets, which the chain has offered since 1986, got a refresh this year. They now features new monster designs in white, orange, green and blue, and can be customized with themed stickers.

Meanwhile, Dunkin debuted its new Dunkin’s Munchkins Bucket on Oct. 16. The reusable trick-or-treat buckets can be filled with a 50-count assortment of Munchkins Donut Hole Treats.

The chain launched several new Halloween-themed menu and merch items and also brought back its DunKings tracksuits for anyone who wants to dress up like Dunkin superfan Ben Affleck this Halloween.
