Handcrafted bowls from a previous Empty Bowls event await being filled.

Empty Bowls, the annual soup fundraiser that supports Feed Our Kids, the Rice Lake Backpack Program, is Thursday from 4:30-7 p.m. at the Rice Lake High School Cafeteria.

Soups and breads donated by local establishments will be served in a variety of pottery and wood bowls crafted by local artists.
