I work from home, but with three dogs and a full workload, I often bounce between my office, living room, kitchen table, and patio to change scenery while keeping the pups entertained. I decided to work smarter, not harder, and stuff all my devices into a practical but chic backpack that would make hauling around my gear easier. Up until recently, I kept my digital life stuffed into a Bagsmart 23L Featherlight Work Backpack.
I say "up until recently" because my husband saw how well the bag worked for me, and he decided to claim it for himself after I lent it to him for a quick weekend road trip. He loved this quilted backpack so much that he swapped it with this $245 bag I bought him as an anniversary gift. Bagsmart's all-purpose multitasker is made from lightweight, water-resistant nylon and has a 23-liter capacity that comes in handy for his everyday life.

My husband is an engineering student, so at all times he's typically carrying around two laptops, a textbook, his iPad Pro, headphones, a scientific calculator, a portable power bank, and little necessities like mints, a Bluetooth mouse, or a water bottle—and yes, there's room in the Vega backpack for him to carry this all. It’s a heavy load, but he says the cushy straps feel comfortable for long periods while the pockets keep him organized and evenly distribute the weight in the bag.
My husband uses the bag five days a week to carry his stuff to class and meetings. We also recently went on a camping trip, and he packed it with layers for the cold evening, a flashlight, snacks, and his laptop and iPad so he could quickly wrap up a homework assignment while we were on the road. It's also come in handy on a few of our recent weekend trips.
For one of our adventures, we attended a convention that required my husband to lug around his 15-inch MacBook Pro and some delicate synthesizers. He specifically mentioned how happy he was to have a backpack that could carry his things, since he had to walk around with them all day.
The Bagsmart Vega quilted backpack is a very stylish yet functional backpack that has impressed both me and my husband, and you can grab it for $70. Below are five more customer-loved travel-friendly bags from Bagsmart that are worth checking out.
