Calling all princesses, superheroes, ghouls, and goblins: it’s time for all the “spooktacular” Halloween fun.

Halloween is full of all the best things — costumes, candy, and fun surprises! There are treats to eat, crafts to make, and pumpkins to decorate.

There's no shortage of activities taking place this fall to fill your calendars with Halloween fun so grab your costumes, get your treats bags ready, and enjoy these eerie happenings.

When: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5Where: Den Mar, 1005 Reed Road, North DartmouthCost: $2 donation

Get your treats and give back to the community at the same time. You will get a special bag to collect treats from the brightly decorated trunks. Non-perishable food item donations are being accepted for My Brother's Keepers and all proceeds go towards holiday gifts for families they adopt.

When: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10Where: The Rotch-Jones-Duff House & Garden Museum, 396 County St., New BedfordCost: suggested donation $5 for individuals; $10 for families

Head over to the mansion to see a spooky display of Jack-O-Lanterns. A scavenger hunt with prizes will take place as well as a performance from Cool Banana Wig.

Get in the spirit of Halloween with this fun fall afternoon. There will be craft vendors, special guests, activities, and entertainment. Make sure to paint a pumpkin, go "pumpkin bowling," and wear your costume to play costume bingo.

When: 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 Where: Lexi’s Road Dogs, 175 State Road, WestportCost: Free

Join in on the fun at their first-ever truck or treat. The first 150 kids to come get a free pumpkin, and there will be treats, treasures, and popcorn.

When: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16 Where: UU Makerspace, 47 Center St., Fairhaven

Get creative and craft your own Halloween costume. Bring your materials and use the makerspace tools and sewing machines to bring your ideas to life. For all ages to connect and collaborate with others, create, and enjoy some snacks.

It will be a day filled with Halloween thrills and treats while supporting over a hundred rescued farm and exotic animals. Experience the sanctuary featuring a reptile show, pumpkin smash, animal parade, craft tables, character visits, and more. There will be a food truck, vendors, and trunk or treat stations. 'Not for the faint of heart':Dartmouth man's backyard haunts have led to The Haunted Trail

When: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20 Where: Fairhaven Recreation Center, 227 Huttleston Ave., Fairhaven

Fairhaven’s signature fundraising walk will take place followed by Halloween fun for all. Take part in games and activities, trunk or treating, raffles, and delicious foods.

When: noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20 Where: Westport Woods, 573 Adamsville Road, WestportCost: $5 per child

A "spooktacular" time is on the agenda with a trick-or-treat trail, outdoor games, pumpkin painting, and music and dancing. Local police and fire will be handing out treats and food vendors will be selling goodies. Must pre-register at https://westportma.myrec.com.

Have a safe and fun Halloween-inspired time visiting decorated trunks for delicious treats.

Family-friendly market with trick or treats, hayrides, and more for the kids. Shopping, wine, and food for the adults to enjoy.

It’s a night full of candy and ghostly fun. Cars will be decked out with candy, toys, and spooky surprises.
